Requires the department of environmental conservation review laws and policies pertaining to free or reduced cost hunting and fishing licenses
Bill A 1103 requires the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) to review its current laws and policies regarding free or reduced-cost hunting and fishing licenses. The DEC will consult with the Conservation Fund Advisory Board during this process. Upon completion, the DEC Commissioner must submit the review's findings to the Governor and legislative leaders. This submission will also include an analysis of the financial impact on the Conservation Fund if more individuals or groups were to receive these special licenses.
