This bill creates a special institutional license for veterinarians working at accredited veterinary schools in New Jersey, allowing them to practice veterinary medicine, dentistry, and surgery only within the scope of their employment at those schools. To qualify, applicants must hold a veterinary degree, pass the state jurisprudence exam, and provide proof of employment or a job offer at an accredited veterinary school, with schools able to submit applications for multiple employees in a single batch. The license is automatically revoked if the veterinarian leaves their school position, and holders must be paid only by state, federal, or institutional funds rather than directly by patients.
