The notices must be posted in service areas and restrooms at bars, restaurants, and clubs that hold Class C or club licenses. Within six months of the bill taking effect, the commissioner must revise the notices to include current information on prenatal alcohol exposure and links to certain cancers, developed with input from medical experts and advocacy groups. Additionally, the department must review and update the notices again within five years and every five years thereafter to reflect new scientific findings. The bill affects alcohol license holders who currently post these warnings and ensures the information remains current for patrons.
