Exempts honorably discharged veterans from payment of municipal parking meter fees when vehicle bears honorably discharged veteran's placard issued by MVC.

This bill expands New Jersey's existing parking fee exemption to include honorably discharged veterans. It allows veterans with an MVC-issued placard to avoid paying municipal parking meter fees when driving or riding as a passenger in any vehicle displaying that placard. The exemption applies only for parking under 24 hours at a single location. It does not cover vehicles parked longer than 24 hours in one spot.
