Establishes registry of out-of-state contractors who are awarded public works contracts in this State.

S 3131 requires New Jersey's State Treasurer to create and maintain a public online registry of out-of-state contractors awarded public works contracts in the state. The registry will include each contractor's project description, trade name, owner name, and principal business address (excluding temporary satellite offices). This registry must be accessible on the Treasury Department's website and provided upon request to any contractor, out-of-state contractor, or public body. The bill applies specifically to contractors performing work covered under New Jersey's Prevailing Wage Act and Public Works Contractor Registration Act.
