Establishes "Common Interest Community Task Force."

This bill establishes a 13-member "Common Interest Community Task Force" to study New Jersey's laws governing condominiums, cooperatives, and homeowners' associations (collectively called "common interest communities"). The task force will examine areas like assessment collection, elections, financial decisions, and contracts with management companies, then recommend policy improvements. It includes two legislative members from each chamber, the Community Affairs Commissioner, a Supreme Court appointee, and seven public members appointed by the Governor representing various community stakeholders. The task force must submit its final report to the Governor and Legislature within 16 months of formation, after which it will dissolve.
