Allows certain alcoholic beverage retail licenses to be transferred with annexed municipal land.

This bill (A 2841) changes how bar and restaurant alcohol licenses transfer when one municipality annexes land from another. Specifically, if a bar or restaurant is located on land annexed into a new municipality, its license automatically transfers to the annexing municipality's governing body. The annexing municipality can then issue a new license to replace the transferred one through public sale, and this new license won't count toward the usual limit of one license per 3,000 residents in the area.
