Added a legislative statement explaining that the bill's purpose is to revise the definition of health care professional in N.J.S.A.2C:12-1 to match the broader definition under the Health Care Heroes Violence Prevention Act (P.L.2023, c.48), which includes volunteers, supportive services staff members, and employees of health care professionals or facilities performing official duties.
