Permits partnerships and joint ventures to bid on certain public works and prevailing wage contracts if each party to partnership or joint venture is independently registered.

This bill allows partnerships and joint ventures to bid on heavy infrastructure public works projects (like roads, bridges, water treatment facilities, and transit systems) if every individual party is independently registered with the state. It requires such partnerships to register with the Department of Labor, designate a primary contract manager, and holds all parties jointly responsible for contract performance. Current law only permitted single, registered contractors to bid on these projects. The bill was withdrawn after being approved as part of P.L.2025, c.242.
