Establishes "Occupational Heat-Related Illness and Injury Prevention Program" and occupational heat stress standard in DOLWD.

This bill requires most New Jersey employers to implement heat-related illness and injury prevention plans for workers exposed to heat. The plans must include monitoring heat exposure, providing cool or cold potable water, paid rest breaks with access to shade or climate-controlled areas, emergency response procedures, and worker and supervisor training. Employers must develop these plans by June 1, 2025, and conduct annual reviews. The law exempts amusement parks, certain emergency operations (like firefighting and law enforcement), and commercial farms (which have separate requirements), while prohibiting retaliation against workers who report heat safety concerns.
