Allows certain breweries to sell and deliver brewed beer off-premises at retail salesrooms.
This bill would allow breweries with a limited brewery license (which produce up to 300,000 barrels of beer per year) to operate up to 15 retail salesrooms apart from their brewery premises. Currently, only wineries that produce 250,000 gallons or less per year can operate salesrooms for off-premises beer sales. The bill would permit these breweries to sell draft beer by the glass and packaged beer for consumption both on and off the salesroom premises, with each salesroom requiring a $250 fee. Breweries would not be allowed to jointly control and operate multiple salesrooms under this provision.
