Prohibits legislative aide who works, or worked, directly for legislator in district office from making political contribution greater than $30 per election to that legislator; prohibits receipt of such contribution.

This bill restricts political contributions from legislative aides to their own legislators. It prohibits aides (current or former) who worked directly in a legislator's district office - such as personal assistants or advisors - from giving contributions exceeding $30 per election to that legislator's campaign committee. The rule also bans legislators or their committees from soliciting or accepting such larger contributions. Violations are classified as a fourth-degree crime, punishable by up to 18 months in prison and a $10,000 fine. The restriction applies to aides during employment and for two years after leaving the position.
