S 3477 New Jersey Senate · 2024-2025 Regular Session

Establishes 10 year Menstrual Leave and Remote Work Pilot Program.

The bill establishes a 10-year Menstrual Leave and Remote Work Pilot Program in New Jersey. It allows employees with qualifying menstrual disorders (including endometriosis, uterine fibroids, PCOS, and other conditions listed in the bill) to request up to two fully paid medical leave days or two remote work days per month with physician documentation. Employers who voluntarily participate can receive tax credits equal to 100% of wages paid for medical leave days or 25% for remote work days. The program expires on January 1, 2035, and prohibits employers from discriminating against employees using these accommodations.
