Requires Internet capable room temperature reporting device installation in certain multiple dwellings.

This bill requires landlords of residential buildings with six or more rental units to install internet-connected devices that measure indoor temperature hourly, record the data with date/time for 90 days, and make it accessible to both tenants and owners. The devices must operate annually from October 31 through May 31. Tenants may refuse installation, in which case landlords must notify the state department. The commissioner of Community Affairs will create implementation rules within five months of enactment, with the law taking effect 13 months after passage.
