Permits historic motor vehicles to be used for pleasure driving one day per week.
This bill allows owners of historic motor vehicles (25 years or older) to use them for pleasure driving one day per week. Currently, such vehicles are restricted to exhibition and educational purposes only. The amendment redefines "occasional travel" to include non-exhibition, non-educational driving, while requiring vehicles to remain unaltered from their original design (except for authorized emergency vehicle modifications). The law takes effect six months after enactment.
