Establishes registry of out-of-state contractors who are awarded public works contracts in this State.

S 2265 requires New Jersey's State Treasurer to create and maintain a public online registry of out-of-state contractors awarded public works contracts in the state. The registry must include each contractor's project description, trade name, owner name, and principal business address (excluding temporary satellite offices). This applies to contractors covered by New Jersey's Prevailing Wage Act and Public Works Contractor Registration Act. The registry will be available on the Treasury Department's website and provided upon request to any contractor, out-of-state contractor, or public body.
