Requires public institution of higher education to provide academic credit for certain examinations.

This bill requires New Jersey's public colleges and universities to grant college credit to students who score at least 3 on Advanced Placement (AP) exams or 50 on College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) assessments. To qualify, students must have completed these exams while in high school (grades 9-12) and be pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree. Institutions must post their credit policies online, submit them to the state Higher Education Secretary, and notify the Secretary 60 days before changing policies. The law allows limited exemptions for specific courses if an institution provides data showing higher score requirements are necessary for student success in advanced coursework.
