This bill requires New Jersey school districts and the Department of Education (DOE) to publicly post website information about student participation in the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA). School districts must share on their websites, within 10 days after testing, the number of students who took the NJSLA versus those who did not, including subject area, grade level, and testing dates. The DOE must then aggregate this data statewide and post it on its website after receiving reports from all districts. The law aims to increase transparency around assessment participation for parents and the public.
