A 4832 New Jersey General Assembly · 2024-2025 Regular Session

Permits winery salesrooms to be held jointly.

This bill amends New Jersey's alcohol licensing law to allow winery license holders (including plenary wineries, farm wineries, and out-of-state wineries) to jointly operate salesrooms. Currently, these license holders cannot jointly control or operate salesrooms, requiring each winery to maintain separate sales locations. The bill would permit multiple wineries to share a single salesroom location, allowing consumers to access a wider variety of wines at one site. This change would apply to all applicable winery license types, including those permitted to operate 15 or 16 salesrooms under current law.
