This bill (A4564) requires New Jersey's State Parole Board to submit annual reports to the Governor and Legislature summarizing how parole cases were handled. The first report must cover the previous 10 years of cases (excluding pandemic-impacted years), with subsequent reports submitted yearly thereafter. Each report must include case disposition statistics, racial and ethnic demographic data for those denied parole, and recommendations for improving the board's processes. The Parole Board must also publicly post each report online after submission.
