Prohibits public institution of higher education from charging tuition to student who is dependent child of veteran who died or is disabled as result of service-related injury.

This bill, A3214, provides tuition-free education at New Jersey public colleges for dependent children of veterans who died or became totally and permanently disabled due to service-related injuries or illnesses, as certified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It covers up to 60 credits for associate degrees and 120 credits for bachelor's degrees, contingent on the student being a New Jersey resident, meeting academic standards, and applying for all available state, federal, and VA education benefits first.
