Requires limited liability company disclose certain information when recording deed concerning residential rental property.
This bill requires limited liability companies (LLCs) and foreign LLCs purchasing residential rental properties to submit a sworn statement with the property deed when recording it. The statement must include the company's registered agent's name and business address, and if the agent isn't a company member, also identify at least one company member. This applies to all residential rental properties, regardless of the number of dwelling units, and must be provided at the time of recording with the county.
