This bill requires all New Jersey counties and municipalities to adopt an anti-sexual harassment policy. The state will create a model policy defining sexual harassment, outlining complaint procedures, and prohibiting retaliation, which must cover all local employees and third parties conducting business with the local government. Local governments must adopt this model policy or submit their own approved policy within 90 days of the state's release. If a local government's proposed policy is rejected or not adopted on time, it must use the state's model policy.
