The bill now establishes a new study committee to review the membership, duties, and procedures of the emergency medical and trauma services coordinating board, the emergency medical services medical control board, and the appointment process for the state EMS medical director.

Two new members are added to the trauma medical review committee: a physician or designee from a New Hampshire rehabilitation center specializing in physical trauma injuries, and a representative from the New Hampshire office of highway safety.

The study committee must hold its first meeting within 45 days of the effective date and must submit its findings and recommendations to legislative leaders, the governor, and the state library by November 1, 2026.
