In subsection (d), the cross-reference was changed from 'paragraph V' (which covers enforcement actions for noncompliance) to 'paragraph VI' (which covers written notice to victims). This corrects the reference so that the requirement to notify victims of payment schedule adjustments points to the victim notification provision rather than the enforcement provision.

Removed the option for the department of corrections to refer cases for suspension of state-issued licenses (including driver's and professional licenses) as an enforcement action against restitution nonpayment.

Changed the prosecutorial referral from 'consideration of criminal proceedings' to 'consideration of prosecution for contempt,' narrowing the legal basis for referring nonpaying offenders to prosecutors. Contempt is generally a lesser sanction than criminal prosecution.
