establishing a solid waste site evaluation committee.
What changed between versions
The list of required expertise areas for governor-appointed committee members was narrowed from eight broad categories (business management, environmental protection, natural resource protection, solid waste facility design/construction/operation/management, community-level recycling, community and regional planning or economic development, municipal or county government, governing of unincorporated places) to just three: environmental protection, health, or science.
New subsection (e) limits the committee so that no more than 2 members at any given time may have current or past employment, contract work, or consulting services in the private waste management industry.
New subsection (f) prohibits a member of the committee from being an employee or contractor (full text not visible in diff but clearly a conflict-of-interest restriction).
Corrected a typo in the section reference from '49-M:65' to '149-M:65.'
