HB 744 increases workers' compensation benefit rates from 60% to 66 2/3% of an injured worker's average weekly wage for temporary and permanent disability claims occurring on or after January 1, 2026. This applies to workers earning above 30% of the state's average weekly wage, with benefits capped at 150% of the state's average weekly wage or 100% of the worker's after-tax earnings, whichever is lower.
