Increased the required years of active engineering experience to waive the fundamentals of engineering exam from 8 to 10 years.

Increased the required years of active land surveying experience to waive the fundamentals of land surveying exam from 8 to 10 years.

Added a new requirement that land surveying applicants must be graduates of a Board-approved land-surveying curriculum to qualify for the experience-based waiver.

Added architects to the list of regulated professions, requiring a certificate of registration from the State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design.

Created a special exemption allowing Pritzker Architecture Prize laureates to practice architecture without taking the standard licensing examination, effective through December 31, 2026.

Reduced the active experience requirement for waiving the fundamentals engineering exam from 15 years to 10 years.

Reduced the active experience requirement for waiving the fundamentals land surveying exam from 15 years to 10 years.

Removed the requirement that engineering and land surveying curriculum graduates be considered equivalent to 4 years of experience when seeking exam waivers.
