The prohibition on selling agricultural data was strengthened to explicitly ban exchanges for monetary or valuable consideration, with specific exceptions for authorized processor use and internal disclosures.

Consent requirements were updated to allow producers to authorize third parties to process their data on behalf of a controller, providing more flexibility in data sharing agreements.
