Interim study of the medical response to COVID-19

This joint resolution requests an interim study of Montana's medical response to COVID-19. It directs the Legislative Council to examine short- and long-term effects of the COVID-19 vaccine, remdesivir, dexamethasone, and other treatments, including ivermectin's potential benefits. The study will also assess outcomes of Montana's Right to Try Act for experimental treatments related to active infections, "long COVID," and vaccine-related health impacts. Findings must be reported to the 70th Legislature by September 15, 2026. As a procedural resolution, it does not enact policy but mandates a review of specific medical interventions.
