Revise campaign finance laws

This bill revises Montana's campaign finance laws to restrict contributions from limited liability companies and partnerships. It allows only those entities taxed as partnerships for federal purposes to make contributions to candidates, while prohibiting contributions from entities taxed as C or S corporations. Contributions from partnership-taxed entities must be reported under the name of the individual member or partner making the contribution, and that individual cannot make a separate personal contribution to the same candidate. The law also ensures that the member or partner is subject to existing individual contribution limits.
