List quail in game bird definition

This bill (LC 3036) sought to amend the legal definition of "game bird" to explicitly include quail. If passed, it would have directly affected hunters and wildlife management regulations by expanding the category of birds legally hunted under game bird rules. The bill was drafted in December 2024 but was canceled and later died in process in May 2025, so it never became law. As a procedural definition change, it had no ongoing effect.
