Require agency reporting on financial assistance to tribes

This bill requires Montana state agencies to submit annual reports detailing financial assistance provided to tribal entities, including grants, contracts, loans, and other funding forms. The Office of Budget and Program Planning will compile these agency reports into a single annual summary and share it with the State-Tribal Relations Committee, Legislative Finance Committee, and Office of State Director of Indian Affairs. The compiled report must be posted on the Office of State Director of Indian Affairs website for public access. Designated state agencies must report specific details such as funding amounts, recipient names, distribution dates, and program purposes by August 15 each year.
