Generally revise election laws and procedures

This bill revises Montana election laws to improve access for Native American voters by requiring counties to establish permanent satellite election offices on Indian reservations, unless tribes and counties agree otherwise. These satellite offices must provide the same services as main county offices, including absentee voting and late registration, and must be open within seven days of voter registration starting.
