HB 802 requires municipal clerks to maintain physical copies of local laws for public access. If a city makes its ordinances available online at no cost, the clerk must keep at least one physical copy on file. If online access isn't provided, the clerk must keep at least three physical copies. All copies must be available for public inspection during regular business hours.
