General Fund; FY2026 appropriation to City of Greenville for improvements to water and sewer infrastructure.

SB 2923 proposed a $146 million appropriation from the Mississippi State General Fund to the City of Greenville for repairing and improving its water and sewer infrastructure during fiscal year 2026 (July 2025-June 2026). If enacted, this funding would have directly covered costs for infrastructure upgrades benefiting Greenville residents and city utilities.
