Congress; call upon to pass legislation repealing the FACE Act and commending President Trump for pardoning certain Americans convicted thereunder.

This concurrent resolution (HC 54) calls on the U.S. Congress to pass bills (H.R. 589 and S. 223) that would repeal the FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act of 1994). It cites examples of pro-life activists prosecuted under the FACE Act after the Dobbs decision, including cases where individuals faced federal charges for peaceful protests outside clinics. The resolution commends President Trump for pardoning 23 such activists and argues the FACE Act has been misused to target pro-life advocates while attacks on their facilities went unpunished. The resolution was referred to committee but died in committee on April 3, 2025.
