City of Philadelphia; authorize governing authorities to donate funds to support Philadelphia Transit.

This bill authorizes the governing authorities of the City of Philadelphia, Mississippi, to donate up to $10,000 from available city funds to support Philadelphia Transit. The money is designated for a nonprofit organization that provides transportation services to the general public, as well as elderly and disabled citizens within the city. The donation is intended to help cover the operational costs of the transit service and is a one-time contribution that may be made at the discretion of the city officials. The law includes a provision that it will automatically expire and be repealed on July 1, 2028.
