Human services: medical services; coverage for street medicine services; require. Amends sec. 109 of 1939 PA 280 (MCL 400.109).

Added new covered services including opioid use disorder detoxification, substance use disorder residential treatment, postpartum mental health screenings, and street medicine services for homeless individuals.

Added new definitions for 'eligible provider' (including peer recovery coaches), 'nurse practitioner', 'peer recovery coach', and 'street medicine services' to clarify who can provide care and what services are covered.

Modified county nursing home reimbursement rates with four new formulas based on variable costs, including a provision that rates cannot increase more than $1.00 per patient day annually and must remain at 1984 levels until certain conditions are met.

Added requirement that the director must notify the public and obtain legislative committee approval before making proposed reimbursement changes that would increase or decrease payments by 1% or more.

Added sunset provision limiting the county maintenance of effort rate changes until December 31, 2025 or until a new reimbursement system is implemented, whichever comes first.

Corrected formatting errors and removed duplicate text from the original Senate introduced bill version.
