Education: students; wireless communications device policy; require the board of a school district or board of directors of a public school academy to implement. Amends 1976 PA 451 (MCL 380.1 - 380.1852) by adding sec. 1304.

Added requirement that wireless device policies must seek to limit student cell phone use during school hours and reduce wireless communication device-related distractions in classroom settings.

Added requirement that policies may prohibit wireless device use during instructional time, breaks between instructional time, lunch, and recess.

Added requirement that policies must provide details regarding enforcement mechanisms schools will use to achieve policy goals.

Expanded exceptions list to include specific disability accommodations under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Clarified that 'school grounds' does not include buildings used primarily for adult education or college extension courses.
