Added eligibility for agricultural commodity groups (including potato and bean commissions) to hold electronic meetings under the same circumstances as other public bodies after March 31, 2021.

Added eligibility for municipal public employee retirement systems to hold electronic meetings after February 13, 2024, requiring them to establish attendance policies for quorum determination.

Added eligibility for joint energy agencies formed under the Michigan Energy Employment Act to hold electronic meetings after February 13, 2024.

Added requirements for public bodies with online presence to post advance notice of electronic meetings on their websites at least 18 hours before the meeting, including explanations of why the meeting is electronic and how the public can participate.

Added requirement for public bodies to make agendas available at least 2 hours before electronic meetings if an agenda exists.

Added requirement that electronic meetings must permit two-way communication so all participants can hear and be heard, including provisions for typed public comments.

Added requirement that public bodies cannot require registration or personal information as a condition of attending electronic meetings, except for participation in public comment periods.

Added requirement that electronic meetings accommodating military duty or medical condition absences restrict remote participation to only those members with those specific conditions.

Expanded the definition of 'agricultural commodity group' to include the potato industry commission and Michigan bean commission in addition to existing committees.
