This bill amends Michigan's Youth Tobacco Act to allow licensed tobacco retailers to sell products at temporary locations like fairs, festivals, and farmers' markets. To comply with the law, retailers must prominently display their license certificate and specific warning signs within six feet of every point of sale at these events. The legislation also establishes administrative fines of $50 per day for failing to display the license and up to $2,500 for failing to display the required warning signs. However, the bill does not take effect until three other related bills are also passed into law.
