An Act authorizing the town of Hingham to utilize alternative methods for publication of legal notices

HD 4846 allows the town of Hingham to publish legal notices using methods beyond traditional newspaper publication. Instead of requiring newspaper notices, Hingham may post them on physical bulletin boards or electronic displays outside the town clerk's office, in local newspapers (digital or print), or on the town's official website. This change applies to all notices that would otherwise need newspaper publication under existing laws. The bill takes effect immediately upon passage.
