An Act relative to toxic-free medical additives reforming your health

This bill amends state law to ban the use of a specific chemical called DEHP in medical equipment used for intravenous treatments. Starting in 2030, manufacturers will be prohibited from selling IV fluid containers containing DEHP, with a later ban on IV tubing taking effect in 2035. The law also restricts replacing DEHP with other similar chemicals and sets a strict limit on accidental contamination levels, while allowing exemptions for blood storage products and providing a two-year grace period for companies still awaiting federal approval to switch to safer alternatives.
