An Act promoting the betterment of resident health and safety in long term care facilities

Facilities would receive annual training on licensure rules, biannual updates on common safety deficiencies, and joint sessions with state inspectors to discuss new expectations. Before implementing any new regulations or training materials, the department must consult with industry trade associations.
