This bill authorizes the town of Fairhaven to issue one additional on-premises liquor license to Southcoast Pickleball LLC, overriding a state law that typically limits the number of such licenses in the town. The new license is restricted to the specific location at 4 David Drawn Boulevard and cannot be transferred to a different address, though it can be reassigned to a new applicant at the same site if they prove all taxes and fees are paid. If the current licensee stops operating or the license is cancelled, the town retains the right to issue a new license to a different applicant at that same location within three years. The act requires the new license to be issued within one year of the bill becoming law.
