An Act relative to certain parcels of land in the town of Cohasset

This bill authorizes the town of Cohasset to swap two specific parcels of land to better serve municipal needs and public recreation. Under the legislation, a two-acre section of Wheelwright Park would be transferred from park management to general municipal control, allowing the town to lease it for telecommunications purposes for terms longer than the usual 30-year limit. In exchange, the town would receive a separate two-acre parcel currently used for general purposes to permanently designate as a public park. The changes take effect immediately upon the bill's passage, enabling the town to manage these properties according to the new designations.
