An Act relative to personal information

This bill prohibits any individual, business, or organization from publicly sharing specific personal information about police officers, their spouses, or their children without the officer's consent. The law defines personal information to include home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, personal photos, and vehicle details, and it applies to any public posting or display on the internet. Violations of this rule are punishable by a fine of up to $5,000, imprisonment for up to two and a half years, or both penalties.
