AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES: Creates the Agricultural-Based National Security Priorities Task Force.

This concurrent resolution establishes the Agricultural-Based National Security Priorities Task Force to study farm security and supply chain resilience for Louisiana's agriculture industry. The group will examine specific issues such as foreign ownership of farmland, reliance on foreign technology, farm labor availability, and domestic fertilizer production. Composed of representatives from state agencies, industry groups, and universities, the task force will meet starting in October 2026 to develop recommendations and potential legislation. Its final report must be submitted to the legislature and the Legislative Research Library by March 21, 2027, after which the group will dissolve. Members serve without pay but may receive travel and per diem expenses for their participation.
