ECONOMIC DEVELOP/DEPT: Increases certain fees assessed by Louisiana Economic Development (EN +$500,000 SG RV See Note)

Removed the requirement that property leases or sales must be approved by the commissioner of administration and reported to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.

Added a new mechanism to automatically adjust fee amounts every two years based on the Consumer Price Index to account for inflation.

Increased the maximum fee caps for various department services, such as advance notifications and application filings, to higher dollar amounts.

Updated the effective date of the Act to January 1, 2027, and established a future review date of January 1, 2029, for inflation adjustments.

Added a requirement that any lease, sublease, or sale of property must be approved by the commissioner of administration and reported annually to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.

Added oversight authority for the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget regarding the purchase process.

Added signatures from the Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, and Governor, indicating the bill has passed all legislative stages and is ready for execution.
